3D-Polarsoft was tested by the Forschungs-Institut Hohenstein in Bönningheim (Germany). The results are impressive: 1. Superior comfort: the non-allergenic filling has the highest volume in its weight class. It is warm, soft, and extremely comfortable, yet also lightweight, and with a low packed volume. 2. Superior durability: whereas other insulations lose up to 15% volume, 3D Polarsoft retains its entire thermal insulation capacity, even after one week of storage in a compression stuffsack. 3. Superior thermal insulation: whereas other insulations lose up to 16% insulating capacity, 3D-Polarsoft's thermal insulation capacity increases by more than 4% after being washed 3 times.
All three down bags (Nauru, Samoa, Tonga) use North European grey goose down filling. The fill power is a measure of how 'fluffy' or 'lofted' the down is. The higher the fill power, the more air it traps, which in turn makes it a better insulator, keeping the sleeper warm. The fill power of our down sleeping bags is at least 750cu.in., which means that one ounce of down can contain 750 inches cube of air. The sleeping bags therefore have very good thermal insulation, along with low weight and a compressibility unmatched by synthetic insulators.

To improve comfort and stability in our backpacks, we use a variety of back systems. Advanced Easy Trek is used in the Transit and Journey series: 1. Easily adapts to any back length: simply pull down the hip belt's centre pad and pull the webbing strap to adjust shoulder strap height. 2. Prevents heat build-up: creates a gap between the pack fabric and wearer's back, maintaining continuous airflow. 3. Optimized load distribution: facilitated by a contoured hip belt and ergonomic cushioned shoulder straps.

We use brass valves for the SI Allround series of sleeping mats, as well as for the MATness. Far stronger and more durable than plastic valves, they will withstand all kinds of mistreatment - including being trodden on by heavy boots

Air Saver valves
We fit unique Air Saver valves to the SI Lite series mats so users can easily 'over inflate' when required. You can keep the plastic tube in your mouth while turning the valve around with your hand. This prevents air escaping while inflating the mat.
