This is the women’s shoe version of the Monida trekking boot, sharing many of its features but with a lower ankle, more suited to trails than rough paths, and shaped specifically to suit the female foot. Superior design and hi-tech materials provide cushioned support for long days out on the trail or exploring city streets. The waterproof nubuck uppers are ‘board lasted’ to prevent undue lateral flexing. Beneath this, a special midsole softens the impact of hard ground. Finally, the shoe is fitted with a Hypergrip Approach outsole for reliable grip on a wide variety of surfaces. Inside, the footbed uses six precision components to support and cushion the foot. Softened skin is vulnerable to blistering, so the Sonora uses a waterproof yet breathable sock insert lining to keep your feet dry. Despite all these advanced features, the shoe remains remarkably lightweight, further reducing fatigue on long days out.
