By means of the thin rib cuff, this sock stays snug around your lower leg and does not sag. Besides the fact that a perfectly fitting hiking sock is comfortable, it also prevents excess fabric from folding in your shoe. The latter can encourage blistering. The NOMAD® Bio-Cotton Hiking Sock contains reinforcement in the toe and heel. This reinforcement prevents irritation and blistering. Also, the toe seam of this hiking sock is flat woven, so you won't feel the seam when you have your hiking shoe on. 

Shock-absorbing footbed

When you go hiking, your feet and legs will experience shocks with each step. To absorb the initial shock of walking, the NOMAD® Bio-Cotton Hiking Sock contains a soft, shock-absorbing footbed that provides cushioning. The polypropylene in the footbed also adds an extra cooling effect and reinforcement. 

Sustainable choice

NOMAD values sustainability and that is reflected in the production of these durable hiking socks. The NOMAD Bio-Cotton Hiking Sock is made of 47% high-quality, bio-cotton for effective moisture absorption, 37% polyamide for extra strength, 14% polypropylene for cooling and anti-odor and 2% elastane. In addition, these socks are produced locally - in Europe. In doing so, we keep production close to home and save CO2 emissions.
