I share the warmth
Share The Warmth
Every winter, thousands of people in the Netherlands are forced to sleep outside, often without enough protection against the cold. Sheltersuit, a social enterprise that supports people experiencing homelessness, told us how difficult it is to collect enough socks for the winter. Basic essentials like socks and underwear are among the most requested, yet least donated items. At NOMAD, we want to help change that.
During this period, we donate one pair of socks to someone in need for every €35 spent on NOMAD socks, in collaboration with Sheltersuit. Together, we make sure that warmth isn’t just something you wear: it’s something you share.
Because sustainability isn’t only about materials, but also about actions. We believe that true warmth goes beyond the product itself. With 'Share the Warmth' we take many small steps together that make a big difference.

Sheltersuit
Surviving outdoors, no matter the conditions. That’s the shared mission of Sheltersuit and NOMAD®. Since the founding of Sheltersuit in 2014, NOMAD® has been donating sleeping bags to the foundation. In their social workshop, these are upcycled into sustainable Sheltersuits, Shelterbags and other products, crafted by people with a distance to the labour market. Warm basics are just as important, which is why this campaign contributes through the donation of much-needed warm socks. The products created by Sheltersuit are designed as a short-term solution for a long-term problem. They don’t solve homelessness or the refugee crisis, but they do help prevent people from suffering from the cold on the streets. Together, we provide warmth, upcycle sleeping bags and create jobs for people who deserve a second chance.
