Waterproofness and breathability

The water column of fabric tells you how much pressure of water the fabric can handle before it leaks. The higher the number, the more water it can withstand. A water column below 5.000 mm is considered waterresistant, a water column between 5.000 and 10.000 is waterproof in light rain, and a water column over 10.000 is suitable for longer and heavier rain. With a 10,000 mm water column, these pants offer excellent waterproofing capabilities, ensuring you stay dry in light to medium rain. Please note, pressure points such as sitting on a bike or wearing a backpack may affect the waterproofness.

Similarly, a fabric's breathability rating refers to its ability to allow moisture vapor, such as sweat, to escape from the inside of the garment to the outside atmosphere. With a breathability rating of 5,000 g/m², these Rain Pants are perfect for light rain and low-effort activities such as a short walk or bike ride.

With a special PFC-free coating, the fabric is made to keep rain out and let water vapor pass through.

Practical features

All seams in the Nomad® Rain Pants are fully taped, preventing water from seeping through the seams. The velcro at the bottom allow you to tighten the pants around your ankle, providing a snug fit.

For extra safety in low-light conditions, the reflective logo and details add an extra layer of visibility.
