Durable and lightweight materials

Both the exterior and interior of the Taurus 300 Sleeping Bag are made of ultra-lightweight and 100% recycled polyester. The specifice weaving technique used for the outer material makes the polyester stronger and more tear-resistant, made to last! It's finished with a PFC-free coating. This makes the polyester water-repellent without using harmful chemicals.

The interior is treated with Polygiene® technology, an antibacterial treatment that keeps the sleeping bag odor-free and fresh for longer, reducing the need for frequent washing. The 3D Polardown Lite® filling of this sleeping bag consists of a waterproof mix of down and polyester fibers. This blend gives it the benefits of both down and synthetic fibers: warmth, comfort and durability. Another quality of the down mix is that it's lightweight and shifts less, making it easy to compress into a small bundle of only 690 grams.

Features

The drawstring at the head end of the Taurus 300 allows you to fit the sleeping bag tighter around your body. Should the temperature drop at night, tightening the sleeping bag at the top allows you to retain some more warmth. The top of the sleeping bag also has a chin guard, preventing irritation between your chin and the sleeping bag. 

The sleeping bag has a full-lenght two-way zipper with two sliders that can be opened or closed independently of each other. This allows you to create ventilation at any desired location by partially opening the zipper. The zipper has an 'anti-snag construction,' ensuring it won't get caught in the sleeping bag material.

Need to get out in the dark? No problem, the zippers have a glow-in-the-dark zipperpuller so you can easily open and close them anytime. The zip can also be fully opened, allowing you to use the sleeping bag as a blanket or connect it to a similar sleeping bag to create a double sleeping bag. 

After use, you can easily air the Taurus 300 using the suspension loops at the bottom. 

Tip: traveling with the sleeping bag? Use the compression bag to make it as compact as possible. Are you storing it for a longer time? Then pack it in the mesh storage bag. This gives the down room to breathe and makes it less likely to clump.

Recommended body length

The recommended maximum body length for this sleeping bag is 190 centimeters.

Comfort temperature

The Taurus 300 is suitable for cool summer nights. For women, the comfort temperature is around 13 °C, while for men it is 9 °C. Never use this sleeping bag in temperatures below -3 °C.
