The NOMAD® Taurus Comfort 550 Sleeping Bag is a spacious but lightweight 3-season blanket sleeping bag for colder nights. The spacious design gives you plenty of room to move around and you can choose to use the zip-off hood as needed to create some extra warmth around your head. With a compact pack size of 28 x 23 cm and a small weight of 1.030 grams, you can easily take this sleeping bag with you when travelling. Multifunctional 3-season sleeping bag

At the top of the Taurus Comfort 550 you will find a comfortable, zip-off hood with a drawstring that you can pull tighter around your head. This allows you to retain some more warmth. You can also choose to use the sleeping bag without the hood. The sleeping bag includes a chin guard to prevent irritation between your chin and the sleeping bag. There is also a drawstring under the chin that you can pull tighter. Should the temperature drop at night, this also allows you to retain more warmth around your body. In addition, the Taurus Comfort 550 Sleeping Bag has a thick, padded draft strip along the entire zipper to prevent warmth to escape.

On warmer nights however, you can use the handy two-way zipper to create extra ventilation. The sleeping bag can also be fully unzipped, allowing you to use the sleeping bag as a blanket or connect it to a similar sleeping bag to create a double sleeping bag. The zipper also has an anti-snag construction that prevents it from getting caught in the fabric of the sleeping bag. 

Convenient features

Is it dark in your tent? No worries, with the glow-in-the-dark zip puller you can always find your zip with ease. Small valuables can be stored in the mesh pocket on the inside of the sleeping bag. 

After use, you can easily air the Taurus Comfort 550 using the hanging loops at the bottom. You can then store it very compactly in the included compression bag or breathable mesh storage bag.
Tip: travelling with the sleeping bag? Use the compression bag to make it as compact as possible. Is the sleeping bag going into the attic for the winter? Then store it in the mesh storage bag. This gives the down room to breathe and is less likely to clump.

Sustainable and durable materials

The Taurus Comfort 550 Sleeping Bag is compact and weighs only 1.030 grams. It is made of super lightweight and breathable, 100% recycled, ripstop polyester. This material is made with a special weaving technique that makes the polyester stronger and more tear-resistant. The filling of this sleeping bag consists of a waterproof mix of down and synthetic down which guarantees softness, warmth and comfort. 

The sleeping bag is finished with a PFC-free coating. This makes it water-repellent without using harmful chemicals. The lining is treated with Polygiene® technology, an antibacterial treatment that keeps the sleeping bag odour-free and fresh for longer. So you won't have to wash it as often either!

The recommended maximum body length for this sleeping bag is 190 centimetres.

Comfort temperatures

The Taurus Comfort 550 Sleeping Bag is suitable for spring, summer and fall. For women, the comfort temperature is around 3°C, while for men it is -2°C. Never use this sleeping bag in temperatures below -18°C.
