With its anatomical fit - specifically shaped for your left and right foot - and elastic instep band, the NOMADAnti-Tick Merino Wool Hiking Sock fits perfectly around your feet. With reinforcements in the areas with the most friction, such as the ankle, achilles tendon and instep, irritation by friction is prevented. You can also find reinforcements at the toe and the heel. 

The entire shaft of the sock is rib knitted so that it fits snugly around the leg and also provides a slight compression. This ensures that the sock stays in its place and does not sag, but also helps to prevent fluid accumulation in the feet. The toe seam is deliberately woven flat so that you won’t feel it when wearing the sock in your shoe.
